Teyana Taylor went live to publicly mourn the death of Michael Jackson and speak on how great of an artist he was. Now I am a huge MJ fan and I played his music regularly even before he passed but it’s hard for me to really break down and mourn for him like I knew him personally and he was family. He was a musical icon, genius and every thing in between and I understand that a lot of musicians and artists look up to him but it’s been weeks now since he passed so we need to be celebrating his life and his legacy. I’m saddened more of the kids getting killed everyday on the streets and people being homeless and not having food to eat. I was upset to hear that MJ passed but everybody must move on. We all mourn in different ways, I do understand that, but it’s time to let the man go and celebrate the music legacy that he has left us with. Shed tears of joy baby girl!! It’s gonna be alright!

Let me start off by saying that I am not going to hate on Bow Wow. Like I said before, he is still like a baby to me so it’s weird seeing him doing “grown man” things. Over the weekend Bow Wow posted 3 pics of himself on Twitter that had the little girls (and surprisingly some grown ass women) drooling over and others hating on. I finally had the chance to view one of Bow Wow’s live Ustream’s on Friday where he put a few blogs on blast about always reporting the negative on him and not the positive. It was umm….interesting. People have to realize that Bow Wow has been in the public eyes since he was a very little boy. I have to excuse his behavior on some levels because of that and while some might not like the things that he does you really have to look into his background and realize that mentally he has seen a lot and been through a lot for a guy his age. I was one of the one’s that felt like he was doing a bit much to prove that he was growing up but when you really think about it…who can really blame him for his actions. I have been known to be cut-throat in my post but I also have to be reasonable.

Diddy has done it again…well he has recycled again. Diddy has announced a new group to add to the Bad Boy roster, “Dirty Money”. Dirty Money consists of Danity Kane’s former member Dawn Woods and singer/songwriter Kalenna and of course Diddy. On his new reality show “Making HIS Band”, premiering on MTV, Diddy will be looking for musicians and dancers to accompany the group on their TV appearances and tours.

Diddy states, “Dirty Money is a look, a sound, a movement, [and] a crew. For my new album Last Train to Paris, I wanted to do something refreshing, something unique, something forward for myself as an artist…I’m a team player. I wanted to tell a love story…I couldn’t just tell the male’s point of view.”

I am actually looking forward to hearing from this new group. I’ve always loved Dawn’s voice and the fact that she is the sole survivor of Danity Kane. Diddy is a businessman so I am sure that he has something hot up his sleeve with this new album coming soon from the trio.

Tisha Campbell-Martin celebrated the upcoming birth of their son with a star-studded baby shower. The baby shower took place over the weekend. The theme was Cirque du Bebe with decorations in blue and a French-inspired menu. and many of the Martin’s friends came to show their support. Guests included Samuel Jackson, Neicy Nash, Cedric the Entertainer and many more.

Also in attendance was the very preggers Lauren London and Jennifer Freeman. Awww the mommy’s to be look so cute!!!

Solange Knowles was spotted walking around in Los Angeles with her new uber short haircut. Now I know that everybody is trying to make a statement these days with hair (Cassie, Rihanna, Lala)but I think that Solange has made the boldest move of them all. I must say that it is definitely a look that I would have to get used to but I can’t hate on it. Solange posted on her Twitter page that she wanted to cut all of her hair off so she really stuck to her word. I commend her for her bravery….I wonder if Bee will follow suit and stop wearing the lace fronts so much…au naturale is what’s in! I wonder what Daddy Knowles had to say about this…SMH!
