Hello everyone!

I have made the decision to temporarily cease blogging for this site. Blogging has always been just a hobby for me. It was never my intention to become famous or make a lot of money from blogging. As you look through my earliest post you can see that I went from this being a personal blog to a celebrity gossip blog and finally to a blog focused on music only. I had fun talking about my personal experiences but then I became “influenced” to post news about celebrities but I knew that isn’t where my heart was. I don’t mind covering celeb events and their music but when I started posting celebrity DIRT and RUMORS it just took away from my character. Some people live their lives focusing on what celeb is going to jail, who is cheating on who and who is kickin it with who.  I had to put myself in their shoes because if I am posting on the mess that occurs in their lives then how does that make me a better person regardless of who is getting a thrill out of reading about it. It’s not in me to down talk another like my shit don’t stink…just keeping it real!

Lady Gaga collapsed before a show in Indiana from exhaustion. She was scheduled to perform at Purdue University last night but had to cancel due to her sudden illness. Her publicist had this to say:

“Due to exhaustion and dehydration, Lady Gaga collapsed and passed out before her show tonight in West Lafayette, Indiana. Her physician has advised her to take a few days off to rest.”

The show for Purdue has been rescheduled for January 26th.

Lady Gaga released an apology to her fans on Twitter:

“An hour before the show, I was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing. Can’t apologize enough for how sorry I am. I could hear my fans cheering from my dressing room, I begged everyone to let me go onstage. … I hope you can forgive me. I love my little monsters more than anything, you are everything to me.”

I’m not really a big fan of the American Idol show but I do love to watch the auditions to see all the people who are going to make complete fools out of themselves and those who blow me away. One person that blew me away was Bryan Walker, a 25 year old police officer, who belted out “Superstar” so effortlessly. I am eager to see how far he will get in the competition.

MIA will be returning to the music scene with her third album that is due in stores this May or June.

This is what she had to say about her upcoming album:

“I wanted it to be, like, no gimmicks. It’s my third album, and I have to kind of confront whether I am a musician or not. … I wanted to make something that you could play that isn’t, like, trendy just for three months or the length of a DJ’s attention span.”

MIA released a track via her Twitter page called “Space Odyssey” that is a supposed attack on the New York Times.

Anyone who know me knows that I am an old school head so to this very day I am always listening to Cameo, Barry White, Isley Brothers and more. The death of Teddy Pendergrass just adds to the lists of GREATS that I grew up listening to. May he rest in peace!! Check him out singing my FAV song….CLOSE THE DOOR!!!

Tyrese and Tank celebrated their birthday yesterday in Los Angeles and many were in attendance to give out birthday wishes including Rihanna, Snoop, Teairra Mari, Hazel-E, John Singleton, Diddy and more.

Sade’s video for “Soldier of Love” has been released and it’s hotter than HOT. Sade has always been one of my favorite artist who creates music that is just timeless. Soldier of Love is definitely a great track and I can’t wait to cop the album once it hits stores. This is how her record label, Epic, described the video:

R& B Crooner, Trey Songz, will be joining Jay’Z’s “Blueprint 3″ tour. According to Billboard.com, Trey will be joining the tour starting February 20th in Ft. Lauderdale and is scheduled to perform on all 23 tour dates.

Charismatic, Young, and Fresh just a few things to be said about up and coming rapper Pre$$ AKA Pyrex Press. Born Preston Hill (1985) in Brownsville, Pa, he was easily swept in to the street life at an early age. Hoping for a brighter future, his family moved to Reading, Pa, where Pre$$ first picked up the mic.

Wolfgang Joop will release a new fragrance for men in February 2010 called “Freigeist”. The new scent has been described as a “fresh floral fougère”. I remember when the original bottle of the Joop cologne came out in a cute fuchsia bottle and you could not be in a store or mall without smelling it on some man. I am curious to see how this new scent will smell and if it is a huge hit with the male consumers as its predecessor.
