Hello everyone!

I have made the decision to temporarily cease blogging for this site. Blogging has always been just a hobby for me. It was never my intention to become famous or make a lot of money from blogging. As you look through my earliest post you can see that I went from this being a personal blog to a celebrity gossip blog and finally to a blog focused on music only. I had fun talking about my personal experiences but then I became “influenced” to post news about celebrities but I knew that isn’t where my heart was. I don’t mind covering celeb events and their music but when I started posting celebrity DIRT and RUMORS it just took away from my character. Some people live their lives focusing on what celeb is going to jail, who is cheating on who and who is kickin it with who.  I had to put myself in their shoes because if I am posting on the mess that occurs in their lives then how does that make me a better person regardless of who is getting a thrill out of reading about it. It’s not in me to down talk another like my shit don’t stink…just keeping it real!

Throughout all the changes I have been working on building my brand, making business connections and traveling. In other words…I have bills to pay and blogging isn’t cutting the checks! However, blogging has opened a lot of doors for me and allowed me to connect with some really great people and in turn help me with my entertainment business. It is said that it’s not “what you know but who you know” but to me both are equally important. Yes I can hang out with certain celebrities but if I am not about business and not passionate about my business then I might as well be a groupie. What I’m trying to say is that my heart has always been in music, entertainment and fashion but not because of the glamour of it all. This IS my passion and because my heart is in it I know that I am setting myself apart from others out there that just wanna be seen. God is an awesome God and I know he isn’t finished with me yet!

Thanks to all of you who submitted music, commented and promoted the site and those who really appreciated this blog for all that it was. I currently have another blog, BaddestBish.com that is a site that focuses on women who are handling their business whether in music, entertainment, non-profit or fashion. You will only read positive things on the site..no bashing or negativity allowed so be sure and check it out. I don’t want to completely say that I am done with this site because I might come back with a new format for it…who knows. For now I will just say that the site is on a vacation! You can also check me out on www.nishayvette.com. This site will be the central location for contacting me and for me to keep you all updated on the things that I am working on…site is undergoing a re-design at this moment.

“Due to exhaustion and dehydration, Lady Gaga collapsed and passed out before her show tonight in West Lafayette, Indiana. Her physician has advised her to take a few days off to rest.”

The show for Purdue has been rescheduled for January 26th.

Lady Gaga released an apology to her fans on Twitter:

“An hour before the show, I was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing. Can’t apologize enough for how sorry I am. I could hear my fans cheering from my dressing room, I begged everyone to let me go onstage. … I hope you can forgive me. I love my little monsters more than anything, you are everything to me.”

This is what she had to say about her upcoming album:

“I wanted it to be, like, no gimmicks. It’s my third album, and I have to kind of confront whether I am a musician or not. … I wanted to make something that you could play that isn’t, like, trendy just for three months or the length of a DJ’s attention span.”

MIA released a track via her Twitter page called “Space Odyssey” that is a supposed attack on the New York Times.

‘The Book Of Eli” premiere was held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre last night in Hollywood, California where couples were in attendance from Denzel and his wife Pauletta, Ice Cube and his wife Kimberly and Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie.
