According to MyFoxLA.com, Chris Rock is supposedly being sued by independent filmmaker, Regina Kimbell, for copyright infringement and unfair competition. In 2005, Kimbell put out a documentary called “My Nappy Roots” that is a similar in concept to Chris Rock’s new film “Good Hair”. Kimbell claims that Chris stole her idea when she did a segment for the film on the set of Rock’s show “Everybody Hates Chris”. She is seeking damages “no less than $5 million”.
